How do I get to Brentford Community Stadium?

Travelling by train

The nearest station to Brentford Community Stadium is Kew Bridge, just a three-minute walk away. This makes the stadium easy to get to using public transport. During matchdays, roads can get very busy around Brentford Community Stadium. Rather than deal with the hassle of traffic and getting parked, simply hop on a train and enjoy the fact that Brentford Community Stadium is right on the stadium’s doorstep.

You can get to Kew Bridge from stations such as Staines, Reading, Ashford (Surrey) and Bracknell. The stadium also has capacity for 300 cycle parking spaces – perfect for if you’re travelling with your bike.

If you’re looking for accessible, step-free stations, you can get off at Brentford, which is a 21-minute walk away or five minutes in a taxi. There’s also Chiswick, which is a 27-minute walk from the stadium, or six minutes in a cab. There are also several bus routes that serve the stadium, including the 237, 267, 65, H91 and the 391.

Match days can get incredibly busy, so if you want to avoid the crowds pre- and post-game, we’d recommend getting to the stadium at least an hour before kick-off. But you could always make a day of it by sticking around in the area after.

There’s lots to see and do in Brentford, from scenic walks to museums. If the sun is shining, pay a visit to the beautiful Kew Gardens, which is home to the largest and most diverse plant collection in the world.   • Since the roads will be busy before and after matches, we’d suggest taking the train instead. Also allow at least an hour for you to get through security and find your seats.
  • If you’re a Season Ticket Holder, bring your Brentford Card along to gain entry.
  • Bring a bank card, as the stadium is cashless.
  • Avoid taking any bags with you if you can, but any you do take should be small and able to fit beneath a seat.

Whether the team are warming up or debriefing post-game, you can satisfy your hunger cravings with some delicious stadium grub. Within each stand you can find both Fitzy’s Kitchen, which serves up delicious food like burgers, hotdogs, pies, pizzas and more, and Four Provinces Bar where you can enjoy a selection of hot drinks, soft drinks and alcohol – though alcohol isn’t allowed in the seating bowl.

If you’re after a sit-down meal, there are plenty of restaurants around the stadium to choose from. These include fried chicken restaurant Cluck Yeah!, pizza restaurant La Vera, The Black Dog Beer House and Strand Café.
